Unyte raises over $27,000 for the Royal Children’s Hospital to help deliver vital care to kids and their families.
This year, Unyte proudly returned to where it all began – supporting a cause that’s near and dear to us, the Good Friday Appeal.
For us, this isn’t just any charity. Our connection to the cause runs deep thanks to Jim Leithhead, the former owner of Grampians Excavations. Jim has long been a champion of the Good Friday Appeal, generously opening his stunning Lincoln car collection to the public and raising vital funds over the years. This year, we were honoured to carry the torch and keep the spirit of giving well and truly alive.
And wow – what a result. Across the Symal Group, we raised over $13,500. But wait, it gets even better… Unyte have matched this amount, dollar-for-dollar, bringing the total to just over $27,000!
To help rally the troops, we ran a Group-wide ‘Guess the Eggs’ competition (who doesn’t love a little friendly rivalry?) and fired up the BBQ’s across our offices and sites, nationwide. From sizzling snags to team spirit, there was no shortage of good vibes and good food.
“It was wonderful to see the smiles on everyone’s faces as the Group came together to raise funds for such an important cause – and had a blast doing it,” said David Caserta, Executive General Manager.
Every cent raised will go straight to The Royal Children’s Hospital in Melbourne, helping provide world-class care to children who need it most. From cutting-edge equipment to breakthrough research, staff training, and patient support, our donation will help make a real difference in the lives of so many young Aussies.
We’re incredibly proud to have contributed to the hospital’s lifesaving work this year, making a meaningful difference where it matters most.
