Construction at Altona Memorial Park aimed to create over 30,000m2 of usable lawn space for future park development.
Our scope of work included:
- existing fence and tree demolition
- construction of heavy vehicle crossings
- sorting and sifting of fill
- stormwater drainage installation
- export of 20,000 loose m3 of clean fill material offsite and 2,500 of oversize material to a reprocessing plant offsite
While working in confined spaces and abating excess material for export, we were able to roll out a number of innovative solutions including early identification of asbestos and ensuring proper clearance certificates for exported materials to ensure the project was delivered safely and on time.
